Advantages: No need to upload your files to our server, our network always has the latest available versions of the file from your server.
Push- You upload your files to our server. When a file is requested (e.g.
http://cdn.yoursite.com/images/logo.jpg) the nearest global egde node will serve the file to the user. If the file is not in the cache on the edge node or it needs to be refreshed, the file is requested from our peer server.
Advantages: No data transfer from your server (saving bandwidth costs), takes the load off your server as all of the HTTP requests are served by our peer server.
